News & Updates

Pastor Pan Releases Statement Of Faith
Amid the growing risk of a secret kidnapping by the Chinese Communist Party, exiled Mayflower Church Pastor Pan Yongguang released his statement of faith denying he would ever return to China. "I firmly believe that my life belongs to Jesus Christ, and I will not choose to commit suicide, no matter what the circumstances. If I lose my freedom, anything I do or say is not of my own volition, and is contrary to my declaration, and has no legal effect."

Your support is needed to bring the Mayflower Church to freedom in the USA & stop potential repatriation to China

Encourage Pastor Pan and his congregation directly by emailing themayflowerchurch@gmail.com

Please keep the entire Mayflower Church in your prayers along with all international partners supporting the congregation.

CCP Forces Christians To Watch National Congress
ChinaAid's media team reported on instances where state-sanctioned groups like Three-Self churches and affiliated seminaries were forced to watch the opening ceremony of the 20th National Communist Party Congress. President Xi's report to the Chinese Congress included remarks to 'Sinicize' all religions to fit the socialized society.

Please keep all Christians across China facing persecution in your prayers, along with their persecutors.

Hong Kong Reverend Awaits Trial Verdict
ChinaAid's media team provided an update on Rev. Garry Pang Moon-yeun's case concerning "sedition and posting inciteful content." Rev. Garry was arrested in early April and his verdict is expected to be released very soon. He has gone through several trials without a lawyer and has seen all bail attempts denied by the court.

Please pray for Rev. Garry, all Christians in Hong Kong, and for the officials within the police & judicial system.

Prayer Letter For Jailed Christian
Li Chunqing posted a prayer support letter on behalf of her husband, Lin Xuesui. Lin was arrested during a Sunday church service on June 14th for 'organizing and funding an illegal gathering.' He remains detained at Gulin Detention Center with his case in the prosecution phase as of late September.

Although the path is dark, we still have hope! Dear Brothers and Sisters, please pray for those who are under residential surveillance at a designated location. Please pray God to lead Lin Xuesui, to strengthen him, and to fill him with peace and joy. Please pray God to be with his lawyers and give them the wisdom to defend Lin Xuesui, Li writes. Please join ChinaAid in prayer for Lin & family.
