Family of Prisoners

As human rights lawyers, pro-democracy advocates, and faith leaders receive unjust prison sentences for promoting the rule of law, religious freedom and advocating for human rights in China, it almost invariably means economic hardship for their family members. Their lawyers, in turn often suffer career setbacks or worse are harassed, beaten or tortured, or themselves imprisoned for taking on these politically-sensitive cases. This fund provides for the financial needs of the families victimized by religious persecution and related human rights in China.
